NHS Urgent Medicine Supply Advanced Service (NUMSAS)

As a part of the new contractual framework and using money from the Pharmacy Integration Fund (PhIF) a national pilot of a community pharmacy Urgent Medicine Supply Service is being launched.

The service is being commissioned as an Advanced Service and will run from 1st December 2016 to 31st March 2018 with a review point to consider progress in September 2017.

  • Gain a deeper understanding of GP services; roles of all practice staff; identify areas of mutual benefit and closer working
  • Receive a GP trainee (if available) into your pharmacy to help foster mutual understanding.  Tutors enrol onto a free quality-assured regional tutor training programme
